About My Clients
Change happens in safe, inviting spaces where we are free to create and imagine new narratives for ourselves. My goal is to always provide that space for my clients. I am eager and humbled to walk alongside my clients as they bravely choose to make changes in their lives. Together, my clients and I seek to discover their best self.
My Background and Approach
Before joining The Briggs Institute as a clinician, I spent time as a fast-paced marketing manager, which gave me a unique perspective on the importance of work-life balance and self-care. I carry this perspective into the therapy room with me as I help clients learn to prioritize themselves, set boundaries, and develop a sense of self outside of their career. I have also spent many hours working with families and couples learning to better communicate within their system. I approach all of my clients through a systemic lens with the understanding that as humans, we are never an island, and that the systems we are a part of, on both large and small scales influence our narratives. Often times, I will use my specialization in play therapy to guide my clients into new experiences to create new narratives for themselves and their systems. At the basis of all of my work with clients, is empathy, kindness, and humor.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you are inherently good and that your worth and value are consistent over time. I also believe that you are capable of growth and of experiencing a new perspective on your story. I believe we can discover this new perspective together if you're willing to invest in yourself and invest in the process.
