About My Clients
My practice is primarily adolescent and young adults, looking to overcome challenges associated with anxiety, depression, and/or life transitions. I value getting to know an individual, and learning what influences their way of being and thinkings. As unique as each of us are, I believe it is as important to understand that we are not alone with our struggles, though that often becomes first feeling we experience.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed MFT, I have been fortunate to work in various work settings, including non-profits, community counseling centers, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and partial hospitalization programs (PHPs). I have since begun my journey through Private Practice, where I hope to connect with others to establish the second step towards the life they want (you've already done the first step by looking up therapists!). As a practicing mental health clinician, I find it essential to acknowledge the challenges that comes with therapy. In my first sessions, I always hope to build a connection where we can create a space for you to identify, examine, and analyze the things that make you, you - and also, to figure out the changes needed for a better life...that was a mouthful, though I promise it makes more sense in person.
