My Background and Approach
With over 9 years of experience I’ve developed an expertise in helping gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender indiviuals. I offer effective ways to help improve motivation, lessen feelings of sadness and reduce depressive thoughts. I help individuals who have low self-esteem, anxiety and bipolar disorder, with what seems and feels like never ending problems. I used evidenced based approaches including CBT, Person Centered Therapy and Solution Focused techniques to treat : Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder; Relationship Concerns, Family Conflicts and Faith Based Concerns. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, my passion is to provide mental health services to other members of our community to ensure they get the support that they need. As a group, we are often marginalized and stigmatized because of our lifestyles, which has often made it difficult for us to find providers who can support us without being critical or judgmental of who we are. I believe that everyone deserves equality despite their gender, sexual identity race or ideals.
