About My Clients
I create a safe space for individuals to freely reflect and express their emotions appropriately and without judgment. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, relationship concerns, as well as identity crisis, and self-discovery. In addition to these areas of growth, I also serve individuals who are super optimistic and empathetic in their lives. Happy people seek therapy too, and it's imperative to know how to balance the time and energy you give.
My Background and Approach
I completed my undergraduate at the University of Texas Arlington, and received my M.Ed in Counseling from Lamar University. I have over 12 years of experience working with children and adolescents. I also have experience working with adults in a variety of mental health settings including inpatient, outpatient, and private practice. I utilize cognitive behavior therapy as well as modalities customized to fit the needs of clients from all walks of life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every human being has the ability to live the life they envision and desire for themselves. I truly believe that my clients all have the solutions to their most presenting concerns and challenges. I also believe that I have a natural way of allowing those individuals to feel comfortable enough to explore and unlock those answers that live within. Therapy is not easy, but in a safe space, the darkest and heaviest paths in life are illuminated with healing and expansion. I believe this is attainable for everyone, no matter the color, sex, gender, creed, or religion.
