About My Clients
Whether you have experienced a recent setback or are trying to come to terms with an ongoing struggle, my goal is to be an unbiased listener providing reflective and direct feedback to help you gain insight and clarity. I view my clients as the expert in their journey and my role is to provide encouragement and support in reaching your destination. I also assign homework to encourage self-reflection between sessions.
My Background and Approach
I love using humor in sessions and encourage clients to find what brings them joy. I specialize in working with those who struggle with trauma, relationships, eating disorders, and life transitions. I am LGBTQIA+ welcoming and affirming. In couples work, I help clients navigate boundaries, communication, and trauma. I enjoy working with monogamous, ethical non-monogamy, poly, open, and kink relationships. I am licensed in the states of Kentucky, Ohio, Massachusetts, and North Carolina.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have over 12 years of experience in the mental health field and come from a secular and humanistic perspective. I am an active supporter of Planned Parenthood and have been a volunteer with Pug Rescue for over 14 years. I also advocate for the adoption of special needs shelter pets.
