Hello! My name is Rachael Lynch and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I work with clients in Michigan or Colorado via Telehealth.

About My Clients

If you are looking to discover your resilience and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, I encourage you to reach out. Your story, feelings, and what you have to say matter; my goal is that you feel heard and empowered. While change and growth can feel uncomfortable at times, you can expect to feel supported, challenged, and motivated by working with me.

My Background and Approach

Through our work together you will harness the skills of self compassion, boundary setting, self empowerment, emotional expression, and coping. We will co-create a warm, secure, and safe base to explore your feelings and experiences in our sessions. While I specialize in attachment based psychotherapy, parts work, nervous system regulation, and inner child work, therapy is not one size fits all. I cater my approach to your needs based on your specific goals. You can expect that I incorporate a holistic approach integrating the mind and body in my sessions. I have a personal passion in working with ADHD, relationship issues, boundary concerns, attachment concerns, anxiety, and body image. I also have extensive experience and training working in eating disorders. I view myself as a lifelong learner and incorporate applicable research, articles, and literature into supporting my clients. I especially have an interest in nervous system health and its connection to mental health.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Outside of my work as a therapist, you can find me cooking up a new recipe in my kitchen or spending time in nature hiking - both of these spaces are where I feel most at peace. Since engaging in my own nervous system healing over the years I have found it incredibly gratifying to reconnect with reading for fun. Throughout my time in the mental health realm I have worked on a community mental health crisis line, for a university as a therapist for college and grad students, and in a group practice. My identity as a social worker extends beyond the therapeutic setting; this identity informs how I see the world, my involvement in social causes, and my values and beliefs in the inherent worth and value of each person. Ultimately, I am human first and therapist second; I enjoy bringing my personality, realness, and humor into the therapeutic space and I find clients really connect with this. If you are looking to explore more about how I can support you, send me an email!
