About My Clients

Are you feeling that you’re not able to truly be yourself around your family, friends or your partner? Does it feel like there is not enough space for your wants and needs when you’re with others? Or maybe you’re wondering, who am I outside of work or my relationships? If so, you’ve already taken a major step in looking for a therapist to support you. I specialize in working with feelings of low self-confidence and low self-esteem, dysfunctional family dynamics, codependency, and boundaries.

My Background and Approach

I received my bachelors degree from the University of Southern California and went on to receive my masters degree at The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California before moving to New York City where I worked for a non-profit private-practice style training institute called the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. It was there that I gained more knowledge in psychodynamic orientation and worked with a diverse group of folks exploring life changes, relationship issues, and exploring dysfunctional dynamics in family relationships. I moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2020 to continue working at a group practice in Sonoma County to enhance my skills of working with adults and couples. I have a great amount of experience working with folks from numerous walks of life and because of that, I utilize evidence-based practices through a social justice lens and a strength based approach, ensuring that the whole person is being acknowledged and treated.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that a therapist-client relationship where any person feels seen and heard is the foundation of therapy. Each person is unique and because of that, I really take the time to get to know all of you - not just the part of you that is struggling. I utilize a psychodynamic and strength-based approach to explore, question, and truly listen to provide a safe space for you to be vulnerable. This might be the only place you feel that you're able to be open and share what you are going through. I work collaboratively to create goals. If any of this has connected with you, please reach out to inquire about working together!
