About My Clients

Life is difficult. Things happen and traumas come up. Talking to others can feel like placing a weight or a burden on them. Sometimes judgement prevents these conversations from even happening. Everyone deserves a safe space to openly express how they feel and find any available lessons in life's trials. In some cases, validation and acceptance can be the first step to overcome a senseless trauma. Life can be full after trauma, disability, or changes in health.

My Background and Approach

There are a variety of therapy modalities. I believe that each person requires an approach that is as individual as they are. My approach focuses on wellbeing and growth through healing. From a trauma centered focus, sessions focus on processing and inner child work. Cognitions are explored and coping skills learned.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I like to look for the positives in every situation, but I will hold space for you in the darkest hours. While the impact of trauma will never leave us, it can transform into an experience we are able to grow from instead of holding us down. I believe that trauma happens to all of us, and each situation is different. One person's trauma cannot be compared to another. We all encounter difficult times throughout life. The ways we process and navigate through these difficulties relates to many factors, including culture, community, and even job expectations. I provide a tailored approach, using evidence based techniques, in a safe/nonjudgmental space.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
