About My Clients
On the outside you have accomplished so much, but you still struggle with feelings of not being enough, feeling stuck, depressed, anxious and you don’t know what else to do to feel better. Your relationships are starting to feel unsatisfying and your needs constantly get pushed aside. Do you even know what your needs are? My clients typically give to others more than they give to themselves. I work with with issues ranging from anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles to self-compassion work.
My Background and Approach
Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, discover what will help you cope with your emotional struggles and how to set boundaries. I use a holistic- mind, body and spirit approach in my practice. What this means is you are invited to engage in traditional therapy, but also incorporate meditation, mindfulness, visualizations, movement, and your spiritual beliefs and practices to deepen your therapy journey. The most important key to healing is the connection you have with your therapist. It is my intention to create a safe, non-judgmental, supportive space for you to express, explore, feel and get curious about who you are and what steps will help you heal.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that thoughts, feelings, behaviors and beliefs are powerful. These experiences are fueled by how we feel about ourselves and the world around us. This energy shapes our positive and negative experiences, how we live our life and how big we dare to dream. The things we hold inside, our secrets, feelings of shame, unworthiness, fear, sadness, guilt and truths stay within us sometimes fueling suffering, disconnect, and unwanted experiences. You can change, but we are not meant to heal alone. A healing therapeutic relationship can be transformational. Therapy can help you step back and listen to the parts of yourself that have been pushed away or ignored, work towards more connected relationships, start releasing the pain from things you have been through, develop healthier thoughts and actions and vision the life you want to be living. There is wisdom in what you have lived through and what you are feeling. I would love to talk to you about how therapy can help you heal.
