About My Clients
It can be difficult to prioritize yourself in the craziness of life and everything you already hold… but the benefits stretch so far beyond yourself to everyone you interact with, and especially to the ones you love most. I enjoy working with couples and individuals of many backgrounds who are experiencing challenges: life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship conflict or distance, among others.
My Background and Approach
I’m passionate about systemic and holistic care- which means I consider the physical, mental, relational, and spiritual aspects of your life and how they interact. I use a variety of frameworks, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems, narrative therapy, attachment, solution-focused, and mindfulness. For couples, I utilize Gottman method (Level 1 & 2 trained) and am also a certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator (great for pre-marital couples).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strive to take a position of cultural humility, and I am intentional about continually learning and immersing myself in diverse communities. I would be honored to walk alongside you to process racial trauma, and consider it my job to educate myself so that you are able to get the care, understanding, and support you deserve. Educating your therapist on your lived experience is one burden of racism you should not have to bear.
