About My Clients
Living day to day life can be exhausting, I know. Just being a human alone is hard, but even harder when we put so much pressure on ourselves to live up to certain unrealistic expectation or suppress difficult emotions. With a compassionate and warm approach, I support clients on their journey of healing and growth. Whether that is building more confidence, exploring self-love, or finding inner peace, I always want my clients to know they have a safe space to explore all of life’s challenges.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I believe in using scientifically proven approaches such as EMDR (trauma therapy), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and CBT to support client with building the skills needed to face life’s toughest obstacles. I also value individuals personal identities and practice from a LGBTQIA+ affirming and anti-racist perspective. My approach is trauma informed and aims to get to the core of the symptoms clients experience by helping clients develop insight and heal from past challenges that continue to cause distress in their life today.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a passion for working with trauma and diverse populations, especially folks from the LGBTQIA+ community. Being a queer therapist myself, who has navigated their own trauma, I know how important it is to find the therapist. Therapy is hard, I won’t sugar coat it! but with the right support, so much is possible. It's a passion and privilege of mine to support individuals like you with achieving all your personal goals.
