About My Clients
My typical clients are teens who have been struggling to manage the impact of trauma – anxiety, depression, social and mental isolation, harmful soothing behaviors, suicidal thoughts and ideation, dissociation from the body, difficulty with school, etc.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University and my bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Colorado Boulder. Before joining the team at New Foundation Counseling, I worked with a youth and family services program designed to support teens struggling with suicidal and/or homicidal thoughts and ideations. My approach to therapy is collaborative and educational. I guide my clients as they learn to effectively manage their mental health, build meaningful and boundaried relationships, find support from community, and enjoy daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Clients of all genders, sexual orientations, and relationship configurations are welcome.
