I intend for our sessions to be very efficient, highly effective, and perhaps even profound. A new sense of calm, focus, and purpose is possible. Imagine going about your daily life looking forward to things with interest and excitement while easily letting go of past hurts and painful memories that used to consume valuable attention bandwidth. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Let me guess… you’ve tried therapy before but it didn’t “take.” Or… you’ve tried therapy and all you did was talk for an hour straight while somebody nodded at you, which left you wondering why you were even there in the first place. You’ll notice that most therapy gets caught up asking about your emotions; the proverbial “and how does that make you feel?” Then it’s typical to get caught up in an endless reaction loop, worrying about your emotions and where “they” are going to take you next. But consider this: what if it has nothing to do with your emotions? What if it has to do with your thinking? Because whether you’re aware of it or not, thinking happens before emotions. Emotions are the outcome of an initial thought, often out of awareness. You are straight, gay, bi, single, coupled, unsure or any combination of the preceding. You are religious, non-religious, spiritual, or even escaping religious “poisoning“ (yes, it’s a thing). All are welcome and embraced.
