My approach is gentle, integrative, relational, and client-driven.
Working with me can look different, depending on your needs and what you want to get out of therapy. I consider you the expert on yourself and your process. What I bring is an intention to help you connect consciously to what is happening unconsciously for you. Typically, I offer an invitation to slow things down. Life and all the things happening in the world move so fast. If you have anxiety, trauma, or are simply overwhelmed, the things we talk about in therapy are just as important as how we talk about them. So, at the beginning of your session, we will usually check in. How can you take care of yourself in this moment? What can be learned from your experience right now?Often, the present moment will take you back to formative feelings and the beliefs that came from them. Then, we can work with these beliefs to see what is serving and what needs shifting so you can live your most fulfilling life.
