About My Clients
If you are adult or person in mid to late teens dealing with high amounts of anxiety, self-doubt, depression, and difficulty figuring out how to make sense of it all I can help you on your path to recovery and growth.
My Background and Approach
For nearly a decade, I have worked in the social work field in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Populations I have worked with include people in crisis, people living with mood disorders, people living with addiction, adults of all ages, and adolescents. In an initial visit, we will discuss what led you to seek assistance and background information. I look forward to working with you to feel heard and creating a path which helps to address your needs. My approach starts with empathy and utilizes integrative dynamics from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. Quality care begins with a warm approach and meeting a person where they are in their process. My therapy style is strengths based, client centered, and solution-focused. I believe in treating each person with dignity, respect, and compassion. You matter. Let's work together to create a space where you can find your path.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I support people of all walks of life. My experience includes working with people from a wide range of socioeconomic status. Each person matters and in my belief we are all equal and deserving. I work with and support people of all walks of life. Though I do not have personal experience with identifying as a part of the LGBTQ+ community, I strongly identify as an ally. I work with people and clients within the community. As an ally, I am supportive and open to feedback. I have personal experience with anxiety, depression, neurodivesity and many other issues. My goal is to help any person who would like me to help them.
