Many of the clients I work with come to therapy because of relationship or dating struggles that they are facing. We work together to explore what might be contributing to these issues and to identify patterns that are at play. We'll also work on improving specific skills when that's relevant, and we address other factors that might be at play.

When it comes to working with anxiety, my goals are to both help my clients reduce their anxiety, and to help them live their fullest lives despite the anxiety. I use a mixed approach, with cognitive behavioral therapy to address the practical side of anxiety and a more insight-oriented approach to help the client learn more about themselves through their anxiety.

Change can be difficult, whether it's a positive one or not. They can bring up old challenges that we might have thought we've already worked through or new ones that we didn't expect. We can work together to help you re-balance and regain your footing after you've experienced a big life transition.

My approach in therapy sessions uses a combination of techniques and ideas from many different therapeutic modalities, depending on what best fits the needs and preferences of each client.

I'm trained to use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process traumatic events they have experienced.

I use techniques and skills from CBT to help clients who are struggling with anxiety and depression.
