I am an eclectic therapist; I draw from a variety of methods and modalities to best serve my clients.
I help couples by both deepening their emotional connection and gaining practical tools to take home and put to work. I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy, an attachment based therapy that helps couples connect intimately and vulnerably, and The Gottman Method, a structured, goal-oriented cognitive behavioral therapy for couples.
For new parents I draw on mindfulness, relationship skills, and a perinatal informed approach to ease the transition into this very new reality. For those who have experienced birth trauma, my preferred approach is Brainspotting, a brain and body based method of addressing trauma.
