About My Clients
I work with adults and children who need help. My areas of specialty are trauma, behavioral disruptions in children, depression, and helping parents to strengthen, and also repair, their bond with their child.
My Background and Approach
I have worked to help people through life’s difficulties for the past 5 years. I am currently licensed in both the state of Texas as well as Alaska and I am currently based in Alaska. I approach counseling from a humanist perspective meaning I believe you are more than a diagnosis or a list of problems. I see you as a unique individual with many of the tools you need to heal already inside you. My role is to help you find those tools, and provide some more along the way, so you and your child can begin to move beyond just surviving life, and transition into fully living it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am in firm support of members of the LGBTQ+ community, sex workers, people of color, and other marginalized communities in their right to be seen, heard, valued, and respected.
