About My Clients
I work with couples to improve their communication and reconcile difficulties; I work with teens to help them relate to their peers, their parents, and to clarify their purpose and vision in life; and I work with families to enhance their connection, their communication, their love for each other. Individuals who have depression or anxiety are looking for ways to feel better, and I work with them to alleviate their symptoms and get them back to a healthier quality of life.
My Background and Approach
I received a PhD in marriage and family therapy, and am also an assistant professor in the Graduate Counseling Programs at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; additionally I supervise LPC Interns and LMFT Associates who are seeking licensure in Texas.
