About My Clients
My clients are usually folks that have difficulty addressing their depression, anxiety, significant life changes, compulsive sexuality, and identity issues. I strive to create an environment where you can rediscover your sense of wellbeing through warmth and acceptance. It takes bravery to reach out and trust someone else with the intimate struggles of our lives, and I’m passionate about offering an environment of understanding to overcome life’s inevitable challenges that feel unmanageable.
My Background and Approach
Any good therapy is built on a foundation of trust and a strong relationship. Through my training and experience, I use Brainspotting, part’s work, mindfulness, attachment work, and other evidence based approaches in my practice. Each approach is used to process difficult experiences and develop skills to handle life’s challenges and live authentically. At my core, I believe that regardless of who you are, you are worth supporting. Currently, I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist - Candidate through the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Specialist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the core foundation to any healing. In my sessions I strive to build a core foundation of safety, trust, and acceptance. Through my own therapy, I was able to navigate life’s inevitable challenges and tragedies so they didn’t serve as the core of my narrative. I am committed to ensuring therapy with me is anti-oppressive and am comfortable working through issues related to identity.
