About My Clients
I have particular experience working with marriages & couples, anger management issues, teenage boys, men's issues, life transitions, and individual adults struggling with depression and anxiety disorders. Every story is unique. I would love to hear yours.
My Background and Approach
My professional journey to become a counselor saw me through a variety of settings and experiences. This included; adult outpatient group therapy, residential rehab for adolescents, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and a non-profit psychotherapy center for low income communities. Beginning counseling can feel overwhelming. Seeking help is an act of courage. With this in mind, I work hard to create a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free environment for my clients. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where we can work as a team to gain insights into both your struggles and strengths. Using compassion, understanding, and clinical experience I aim to uncover my client’s innate ability to find growth and fulfillment in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has an innate ability to heal and grow. Sometimes in life we lose touch with our healing instinct. The stress of life is noisy. Things like depression, trauma, or anxiety can make that positive inner voice harder to hear. That is where therapy comes in. Together we can pool our tools, perspectives, and insights to find clarity and direction. The first step in making sense of your story is to tell it!
