I am passionate about walking alongside adolescents, young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, depression and low self-esteem due to challenging life transitions, relational wounds, identity formation, spiritual abuse or family/childhood trauma. I strive to create an inclusive, safe and non-judgemental space that offers support to all individuals including the LGBTQIA+ community. In a collaborative effort, I will help you gain insight into past experiences that may be hindering your present joy and equip you with healthy coping strategies to overcome the here and now.
My goal as your therapist is to hold space for you in a manner that allows you to safely share your stories, struggles and hopes for a renewed life — free from shame and feelings of unworthiness. I have a special interest in exploring the mind-body connection and will incorporate mindfulness-based techniques, somatic experiencing and Person-Centered therapy to help you set tangible goals for yourself and take practical steps towards a more joyful and fulfilling life. I consider my own journey thus far as one that was designed to teach me the reality of brokenness and pain so that I might sit with you through the hardships with an empathetic heart.
