About My Clients

Are you finding yourself unsure of where to turn in life? That coping mechanisms which once worked for you no longer are? Do you struggle to find a connection to yourself or others? Do you find yourself still struggling with things that happened long ago and you don't understand why? Having the courage to work on one’s relationship to self and others can be powerful, deeply healing and perhaps one of the most loving actions one can do. I see adults, adolescents/tweens, and couples/families.

My Background and Approach

Within my therapeutic practice, I believe that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to psychotherapy. I have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles with a specialization in Psychological Trauma. I continue to train in modalities that will benefit my clients. I have completed EMDR Level 1 and 2 training. I work psychodynamically and integrate other modalities when appropriate which can include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and somatic-based approaches. I am LGBTQIA affirmative. As your therapist, I will collaborate with you at your own pace. Together we will discover the thoughts and emotions driving you and learn new ways of coping. We will explore what is underneath the unwanted thoughts, feelings, and behavior and begin the healing process.
