About My Clients
I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years working with individuals across all ages; children, adolescents, adults, varying cultural backgrounds and socio-economic statuses. I have experience with a wide range of concerning issues, including anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, parenting, autism spectrum, domestic violence and LGBTQ+. I accept Wellspring EAP and private pay in addition to Premera Blue Cross, Lifewise, and UBH.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in a client-centered holistic approach when working with clients and I meet them where they are. I work to build a therapeutic alliance with my clients, to instill trust and hope while teaching my clients the tools to reduce symptoms and cope with life’s challenges. I take the time to establish rapport and validate your feelings and experiences. I will help you identify barriers while educating you on the tools to work through them. I look forward to meeting you and learning how I can support you in your counseling journey. I earned my MA of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nevada/Las Vegas and my BA of Science in Applied Developmental Psychology and Counseling from Eastern Washington University.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in a collaborative process to establish goals and break down the steps to reach those goals. My aim is to help my clients gain a better understanding of themselves and I strive to create a safe place for my clients to express themselves in a supportive environment.
