I enjoy working with young adults through anxiety, depression, coping strategies, and relationship difficulties. Couples desiring to work through betrayal trauma, and couples who desire more emotional connection and intimacy is a passion of mine. I have a heart for spouses of those who struggle with compulsive sexual behaviors. I have a heart for those in the challenging and rewarding career of being an educator.
My Background and Approach
I have completed one year of internship at University Counseling Center and have many tools to help with anxiety, depression, coping strategies, and relationship issues. I am an APSAT (Partners of Sexual Addiction Trauma Specialist) and have a heart for spouses of those who have compulsive sexual behaviors, and for couples recovering from betrayal and infidelity. I am also work from an Emotional Focused Therapy lens and working towards my EFT certification.
I worked as an educator for 12 years in the public school system and have a heart for educators and the pressure of that career.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe change is possible for everyone. Part of the therapeutic process is the honor I have of being WITH people in their hardest seasons. I believe that the journey, done together, while hard, can lead to healing and wholeness.
