About My Clients
Everyone expects you to take care of them, to take care of business. You hold yourself to a high standard, but somehow you know you just can’t keep going at this rate. The stress and anxiety is climbing, and you find yourself feeling overwhelmed. At the end of the day, you don’t have much, if anything, left for yourself. I’m here to hold space for you to explore these challenges and sort through all of the noise, to help you reconnect with yourself and what you want and need.
My Background and Approach
I’m so glad you’re here. I know that making the decision to reach out to a professional for support can be one of the toughest steps to take. I also know that it can be the most brave and important one. Sometimes, gaining an outside perspective from a trained professional outside of our circle can be the key to unlocking what is keeping us stuck. As a therapist, my job is to ask meaningful questions to help you discover what may be holding you back from achieving your goals. I am passionate about building connections with my clients and holding space for them to explore and discuss challenges in their lives. I take great care in supporting clients on their journey forward. I am honored each time I connect with a client and they share their most precious stories with me. To me, it is so important to find a therapist who you feel like is a good fit for you and understands you. It would be such a privilege to talk and find out if I can be helpful to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’ve been where you are - working so hard to keep all of the balls in the air, and beating yourself up when one inevitably falls to the ground, or worse, shatters into a million pieces. I’m a recovering perfectionist and people pleaser, a highly-sensitive person, an enneagram 9, a wife and new mom, an entrepreneur, a former gifted kid, a bit of a personal finance nerd, and an aspiring minimalist (or maybe messy minimalist). I practice what I preach and am proud to be a therapist in therapy! Going strong for over a decade. Although I love books, puzzles, and watching all the streaming shows, my current favorite pastime is just getting to watch my baby figure the world out. So cool.
