About My Clients
Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor. Sometimes our path in life is not always simple and straightforward. We may face challenges we never saw coming or don’t have the proper skills to tackle. Sarah’s goal is to assist you through your journey and help provide you with the skills you need. Counseling can be challenging. But nothing is more satisfying than helping someone overcome, move forward, learn a new skill, or just be able to be at peace.
My Background and Approach
Sarah has 10 years of experience in education and has been a licensed counselor since 2013. She uses a client-centered approach to therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients get unstuck and make real changes. Clients appreciate Sarah’s direct, empathetic, practical approach to counseling. Sarah’s specialties include Infertility, Couples Therapy, Marriage Counseling, Pre-Marital Counseling, Maternal mental health, Anxiety, Adolescents, ADHD, Education and School Issues, College and Career planning, Athletes /Sports Counseling, LGBTQ+ Counseling, and LPC Supervision.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Sarah has always been a team player. She played sports, coached teams, and worked in education. All of those require her to work within a group of people. Counseling, on the other hand, is nothing like a team. It is individual and personal. It’s one on one rather than large numbers of people. That is what she enjoys most. Working with one person, to help them go through their journey, is very meaningful for her.
