About My Clients

For all your maternal and parenting needs; from womb to wold, I am here to support. Whether you are pregnant, postpartum, or parenting, your experience is valid and deserves space. We all have been a child once and know the impact those small (and big) experiences have on the person we grow into, which is a lot of pressure and stress for parents and parents to be. I love to work with moms/parents and children to support with decreasing this stress and increasing positive loving moments.

My Background and Approach

I am experienced in working with children and families, teens and young adults, as well as new mothers. I often treat those with childhood traumas, anxiety, postpartum, relationship conflict, parenting stress, co-parenting issues, and depression. I have treated many young adults and teens that have struggled with sexual abuse, incest, children of alcoholics, adjustment to changes in school, home life, and losses, and children who have experienced foster youth or other disruptions in attachment. I have training in 0-5 development and positive parenting and utilize this knowledge to support treatment. I use individualized and holistic treatment to ensure your unique needs are met and the approach feels safe and authentic to you. I utilize CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy, bibliotherapy, sand tray, mindfulness, and art therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I understand that often the world feels unsafe and we are given evidence that reinforces that; I too have been there and know the hardships that come with admitting to needing support. I am here to provide a safe space without judgment; only with care and support in you reaching your goals. I see couples, parents, children, teens, and young adults. I believe that each individual has their unique struggles that need individualized support and understanding. I enjoy helping children, teens, and young adults build a better understanding of their past experiences and how they impact their current functioning in order to heal from traumas and maladaptive relationship patterns. I work from an attachment and trauma informed space and encouraging an authentic and raw therapeutic relationship. I use my own experience from my own trauma in childhood, healing process, and personal struggles to help normalize and connect with individuals. Being a human is hard and I will always validate that.
