About My Clients
You don’t have to go through your quarter life crisis (or any crisis) alone… especially during a pandemic! Are you constantly worrying about the future or unsure of your place in the world? Maybe you keep comparing yourself to others and struggle with maintaining healthy relationships and setting boundaries at work and at home. Without former ways of coping such as traveling and socializing with friends, you might be having trouble finding new ways to manage your anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I treat clients struggling with issues pertaining to: identity, cultural assimilation, differentiating from family, living authentically, coming out, spirituality, codependency, setting boundaries, and cultivating healthy relationships. I believe in holistic healing and I incorporate elements of trauma-sensitive yoga, mindfulness, CBT, and trauma-informed talk therapy in my practice. Practicing social distancing can be extremely lonely and isolating. But thanks to online therapy, you can still get the help you need and deserve. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and nonjudgemental space to vent, process, and unpack trauma and heal old wounds so that you can unlock your fullest potential and live your best life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My number one desire in life is for it to be fair and inclusive for all human beings. I am an active ally of the LGBTQ community and Black Lives Matter movement. I support any cause aiming to decolonize and eradicate racism, homophobia, and transphobia. In addition, I grew up in a very religious household and struggled with identifying my own spiritual beliefs. I played around with agnosticism for a bit but currently my spiritual belief system is comprised of concepts from Christianity, Buddhism, and Hinduism.
