About My Clients
Life is a journey that is ever-changing and often challenging. Too often, we feel stuck, defeated, and alone. As your therapist, my goal is to partner with you, providing a safe space to gain deeper insight, empower you to find your way, and support you as you move through the process.
My Background and Approach
I've been in practice as a Marriage & Family Therapist since 2010. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Syracuse University and trained in the Psychotherapy Center for Gender & Sexuality at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. My expertise allows me to work with clients experiencing a variety of concerns including gender identity exploration, trauma, anxiety, depression, and family and relationship issues. In addition to my work with diverse couples and individuals, I have worked as a family therapist with youth within the New York State PINS system, as a substance abuse counselor, as a Clinical Supervisor, and as a leader in various social services organizations.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a collaborative therapist who is informed by a systemic and culturally sensitive approach. As a clinician specializing in LGBTQ concerns, it's my mission and expertise to provide a space where healing and self-love can emerge.
