About My Clients
I have a passion for helping those with trauma, anxiety, life transitions, stress, relationship issues, and finding purpose. I specialize in treating individuals who’ve endured trauma and perinatal mental health struggles. Oftentimes, the two overlap which is where my passion work lives. Specifically, working with those who have endured pregnancy/infant loss, infertility, and trauma related to the perinatal period.
What I Specialize In
My approach invites a more holistic view of being than traditional therapy does because not only does mental health take a toll on the mind, but the body as well. This is why I believe the body must be included in treatment- because I believe that all parts of you matter. The truth is that sometimes words are not enough to capture the essence of our pain, triumphs, and everything in between. Informed by Somatic Experiencing and as a trained Art Therapist, I draw on warmth, creativity, compassionate curiosity, and humor to help clients to explore themselves. Through this journey, my clients find the courage to honor all the necessary parts that make them whole. My style balances a gentle yet encouraging attitude to help you meet your goals. With an approachable attitude and collaborative approach, I empower all of my clients to move towards tangible change. Why I Became a Therapist
My passion is giving space for people to feel like their voices are heard. Many that walk into my office feel alone in their struggles, causing them to hold shame and silence them from sharing their story. But this silencing often acts against our healing and keeps us feeling stuck. As a therapist, I understand how frustrating it feels to be trapped in the same cycles day in and day out. Which is why my role in breaking those cycles is to create a loving space for my clients to exhale their truth. My priority as a therapist is that each of my clients feel safe to express their most authentic selves so that they can blossom.
