About My Clients

My clients are individuals from 20-50 years old who are struggling with life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. They are individuals who have a desire to understand themselves on a deeper level and feel more confident in their decisions.

My Background and Approach

We live in a world that encourages us to cut off from our feelings, from our sense of being truly alive. When we do this, we become rigid, anxious, depressed and empty. My approach isn’t to dismiss, judge or change your feelings. It’s to help you be with your feelings, your body, and your protectors in a different way. I want to help you connect to your body and your emotions in a way that helps you get to know yourself more deeply and feel more confident in your decisions. Using Attachment Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, Emotional Transformation Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy and compassion, I believe we can help pull you out of depression and anxiety spirals and feel a greater sense of peace. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment with an open and accepting attitude that will allow you to explore your most authentic self and grow to your potential.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Life is difficult and we cannot go through it alone. Our brain is social and primed for connection. According to neuroscience, we heal in relationships not in isolation. The only way through our pain is to embrace the difficulty and go through it whole-heartedly with curiosity and a desire for self-awareness and self-compassion. In order for healing to occur, we have to be in neurosceptive safety – this means we have to be with someone who is truly present with a nonjudgmental presence that has no agenda or idea of what should happen next except to just be there with us. Feeling safe makes us more open and calms down the amygdala so that we can begin to explore and get really curious about ourselves. I’m here to create a safe space for you and help you on your journey.
