There are probably many moments where you feel alone, like no one understands what you're going through. Keeping everything bottled up only causes an explosion. My goal is to give you some relief and release all of that pressure!
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy using a holistic lens. Having a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy has taught me how important it is to look the "systems" in a person's life in order to identify the root of these issues. I work backwards in order to move you forward. Together, we will examine how your past has contributed to your actions, beliefs, and triggers of today. I know...that sounds a little scary...digging up things that we pretend never happened or we just want to forget about it. But this is where the true healing begins. Staying at the surface only causes more hurt and pain. We will slowly peel back those layers until we can identify the cause and then process your issues from there. Remember, when a tree bears bad fruit, cutting off the limbs won't help...you have to heal the roots first. I have helped many individuals and couples with self esteem, substance abuse, conflict resolution, life transitions, communication, peer conflict, family conflict, work issues, and more.
