About My Clients
I'm working with adult individuals, teens, couples and families. In Couple Therapy we work on learning to accept differences without losing ourselves. In Youth Therapy I meet young people who often feel lost and misunderstood and get to know the richness of their world. Family therapy is a sensitive process that I facilitate with both care and dare. I also like working with creatives, immigrants, parents
My Background and Approach
For me, healing starts in a supportive environment created by our relationship. My main tools are curiosity, awareness, and focusing on the here and now. Together we create a brave space to explore your different parts and your subjective experience and see it as it is, without judgment. My confidence in the process is based on my ability to see you. To believe in you. In your inner wisdom, your creativity, your uniqueness, the ways you found to cope with your struggles. When we feel this acceptance from another person we can start to develop it within ourselves. When we learn to be with our shadow, we no longer fear phenomena such as depression, anxiety, low self esteem, grief, and relationships. We can look at them as human emotions that are part of our growth. I developed this way of thinking through my life experience and thanks to my life changing years in the MA program in Psychology in California Institute of Integral Studies and my gestalt training in San Francisco.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in people, in their inner strength, in their right for freedom and self fulfillment, I believe in getting to know our fears and having conversation with them. I believe that we thrive when we feel accepted for our uniqueness. I believe in diversity and differences. I believe in togetherness and in being alone. I believe in creativity. I believe in adventures and dreams. I believe in me, in my warm, eclectic and open personality. Being a mom, an immigrant (from Israel) and a creative person with a background in film and journalism also shaped my way of being with people in their creative journey for self discovery.
