About My Clients
I work with youth, adults, and families who are seeking a greater sense of wellbeing in their lives. You may be experiencing feelings overwhelm, worry, stuckness, self-doubt, difficulties in personal or professional relationships, or any number of challenges many of us face. Therapy provides a supportive space to explore patterns, process events, and experiment with new ways of connecting to ourselves, others and the world. It is also a place to cultivate joy, confidence, meaning, and ease.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History and Psychology from Middlebury College. Over the past 12 years, I’ve provided care in a range of therapeutic settings, including community mental health clinics, middle and high school, hospice and long-term care facilities, hospitals, and private practice. I have enjoyed working across life stages from early childhood to end-of-life. My style is warm and attentive. I will actively listen to your hopes, needs, and priorities, and together we will collaborate on a treatment approach that works for you. I use holistic mindfulness-based therapies (including relational therapy, somatic therapy, attachment focused therapy, and expressive arts therapy, and more) and draw upon existing strengths, tools, and values.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value inclusivity and connection. I invite you as you are and who you are. I aim to celebrate your strengths and identities, as well as contextualize your experiences within social systems and power dynamics. To provide inclusive care, I actively engage in anti-racism and anti-oppression work inside and outside the therapy room. I bring a love of art, activism, movement, science, community, and nature to my clinical work. Before my career as a therapist, I worked in system change organizations, including museums, sustainability, and social innovation.
