About My Clients
You are at a juncture - something has happened and you are learning how to cope, you are ready to begin processing pain you've kept inside for a long time, or you know you need a change. You might feel exhausted by the need to be perfect all the time, but don't know how to live any differently. You might feel stuck in a box where you are disconnected from yourself. I can help you reconnect to the strength and goodness inside of you, and discover ways to live in freedom from your suffering.
My Background and Approach
I offer a empathetic space to work through anxiety and depression, and also to access your strengths and develop new skills so you can live authentically and confidently as the survivor that you are. I use trauma-informed therapies to work with anxiety, depression, and the stress that comes with big life transitions like moving, starting a new job, starting or ending a relationship, or having children. I can help you set boundaries to protect you from burnout in your relationships and in your professional life, and to pay attention to and take care of the emotions you are feeling.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are all, at our core, good, kind, strong people. And I also know that life is hard, terrible things happen that we cannot control, and we are driven to extremes to try and manage and survive what's been thrown at us. No one deserves to be alone in their suffering, and we all at times need help to find a way out of a dark season. I want you to know that no matter how your story has unfolded until today, you have the ability to write beauty and joy and freedom and peace into it. If it feels impossible and too painful to hope for a brighter chapter or see yourself as a good person deserving of love and happiness, I would be so honored to hold those beliefs for you until you are ready to own them.
