I specialize in treating complex trauma and PTSD using a gentle approach that helps you build a toolkit of coping skills right away. I use a somatic (body-based) approach called Sensorimotor Psychotherapy that uses mindfulness to tune into the wisdom of the body for healing.

I work with all different forms of non-traditional relationships including those who identify as polyamorous, solo-polyamorous, consensually non-monogamous, relationship anarchists, people who identify as "monogamish", swingers, aromantics, folks consciously choosing monogamy, and those in or curious about open relationships.

I work with all different sexual orientations whether you're queer, bisexual, gay, pansexual, asexual, lesbian, or any other color of the rainbow. I am also unapologetically sex positive and sex worker affirming--sex work is work! No topic is too taboo or off limits. I support folks in all of their kinky identities, fetishes, and BDSM practices. For folks who are questioning issues of sexual identity and desire, I provide a warm, affirming space to discover yourself.

All of us have parts, and often times those parts are in conflict. Parts work helps us begin to notice when parts are getting in the way of us living the kind of life we want to live. Often times those parts are connected to earlier child parts that were simply trying maximize connection to a caregiver, so often the work of integrating parts involves using the wisdom of your adult self to heal those younger parts.

Feminist Therapy allows us to examine the role of systemic factors such as oppression, power, and privilege which impact the symptoms which bring you to therapy. As a Feminist Therapist I pay special attention to the power imbalance inherent in the therapist-client dynamic and actively work to empower you to push back, challenge, question, and collaborate as we work together.

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a mindfulness and body-based approach to healing trauma. It is a very experiential approach to healing that involves a lot of experiments, movement, and creativity to help the body do now what it couldn't at the time of the trauma. I use guided mindfulness at help you notice bodily sensations, emotions, thoughts, beliefs, impulses for movement, images, the five senses, and imagery.
