About My Clients

I work with adults who identify as people of color, immigrants, children of immigrants, LGBTQ+, and vegans (proud vegan since June 2019!). My specialties include treating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and relationship issues.

My Background and Approach

I use Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help others accept what can’t be change, to change what’s within their control, and to commit to act based on their personal values to create meaningful changes. During our work, I make it a point to see and affirm your strengths to emphasize there is more to your humanity than your current problems.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

You can expect to feel heard, validated, understood, and accepted as you are right now in this world. To that end, it’s my aim to understand and clarify your reasons for seeking therapy and to get a sense of what you want to get out of our time together. Time is incredibly valuable, so as much as possible- I want to ensure you find therapy useful and worthwhile.
