About My Clients
I specialize in counseling in a non-threatening, zero criticism environment for executives, health care professionals, artists, business professionals, military officers, and entrepreneurs. I can help you with burnout, compassion fatigue, stress, anger, relationship issues, anxiety and depression. I look forward to working with you and helping you attain greater happiness in your life where you are less stressed, worried, burnt out and more interested life.
My Background and Approach
I use a combination of theoretical orientations depending upon the client. First and foremost I employ a non-judgmental, person-centered approach to counseling where, no matter the circumstances, you are valued as an individual who has something to contribute to this world. I am also an existentialist and believe that our fears/worries contribute to our difficulties with coping. For this reason, I am happy to infuse your spiritual/philosophical belief system into counseling. Additionally, I use a cognitive-behavioral approach to understand how your past behavioral and cognitive patterns inform your present behavior and thought patterns. We will work to change those patterns with the understanding that this may take some time. I am looking forward to helping you overcome stress, worry, apathy, anger, and burn out. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each and every human being has within them the desire to grow and change. There are roadblocks that come in the form of bad habits, circumstances, thoughts, and unhealthy behaviors that need to change. A good therapist should work together with you to target those areas of your life that need change. I am looking forward to helping you and know that greater hope and happiness is indeed possible!
