About My Clients
Day-to-day life does not have to be THIS hard. You do not deserve to feel overwhelmed with feelings of sadness, despair, fear, worry, or that you cannot get yourself to sleep or focus enough to function at work or at home. Therapy, eating a well-balanced nutritious diet, and getting enough exercise are sometimes not enough. Medications can help you manage your stress so that you can regain some control in your life. Using medicine does not always have to be life-long and can be short-term only!
My Background and Approach
I received my education and training in psychotherapy and medication management at the prestigious Columbia University in NYC. If you are seeking 5-minute med-check visits then I am NOT the right match for you!I want to talk to you.Taking enough time to listen to you, understand you, and teach you about your medication options makes a huge difference as we work together to choose the best medicine. I safely use medications to get you emotionally healthy again. Quitting tobacco is extremely difficult for most people and I am an expert in using medications to help clients quit for good! ***Additionally, I certify clients for the use of Medical Marijuana which has been shown to be effective in the treatment of PTSD. I can't wait to meet you, hear your story, and help you feel well again!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves quality care that is free of bias and judgment. You will not be treated unfairly in my care because of your gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or race/culture/nationality/ethnicity. I love what I do and when I'm not working with clients to bring back their joy using medications I can be found fiercely advocating for children and adults with special needs. I believe in giving back to the disadvantaged communities in which I was raised. I currently volunteer during my free time on the board of managers at the North Brooklyn YMCA where I am currently working to improve access and services for people with mental illness, special needs, or disabilities.
