About My Clients

I enjoy working with older teens and adults who are struggling with a range of issues including relationship difficulty, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, shame, or trauma. I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, and strive to provide a space to explore all aspects of their lives.

My Background and Approach

I have a Masters in Social Work, and post-graduate certificates in Marriage & Family and trauma therapy. My approach is non-judgmental, direct, and collaborative. I use a relational, psychodynamic, and existential lens to explore deep-rooted emotional patterns and attachment issues. I believe in taking the time to get to the heart of clients' stories to help them see themselves clearly and to make significant changes.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My therapeutic work is rooted in social justice. I support all forms of anti-oppression, including LGBTQ+ rights, Anti-Racism, Feminism, Health at Every Size, and Sex Positivity. I strive to provide a safe space for people of all identities and backgrounds to feel seen, valued, and respected, while rejecting discrimination.
