About My Clients
Do you feel stuck? Stuck in relationships, in your mind, in your body, perhaps even in time--as though you are going nowhere but it's all happening too fast as well. I provide specialized work in learning how to identify where and why we get stuck. I can help you with how to cope with distress, pursue trauma healing, break toxic cycles, and better understand who you are, what you want in life, your strengths, and your areas of growth; essentially, getting unstuck so you can live life.
My Background and Approach
As your therapist, I want to help you learn how to identify and achieve your goals in life. Unfortunately, many of us have been told that we are “a problem," and this can impact our beliefs around what we think we deserve. Oftentimes, these things do not serve our greater good but someone else's and to our detriment.I enjoy working with clients to disband these harmful beliefs, so that we may no longer see ourselves in this way but instead those beliefs and oppressive systems as the problem. By doing this, you can re-write your life story so that you can set yourself up for success in meeting your goals and rebuilding your self-worth. I aim to be witness to your current story of how you got to where you are today—both your pain and your resilience—and to honor that part of you that worked so hard to keep you here. Together, we will uncover these emotional wounds and patterns so that you may acknowledge them and begin to heal and create the life you want. You are not here by mistake.
