About My Clients

My ideal clients are interested in exploring their early life experiences with family to nurture deeper meaning and cultivate awareness, vulnerability, authenticity, and attunement to oneself as well as others. I see individuals or relationships who identify as LGBTQIA2S+, neurodiverse, all body sizes, and relationship structures which include ethical non-mon, monogamy, and polyamory. I practice in a way that acknowledges systems of oppression/privilege as well as intergenerational trauma.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy with a specialization in sex therapy from Lewis and Clark College Graduate School of Education & Counseling in Portland, OR and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Social Sciences with an emphasis in Gender Studies and Sociology from Washington State University. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (OR License #: T2501; WA License #: LF61500230).I'm Level 2 Gottman trained. I am Emotionally Focused Therapy trained. I’m trained in systemic family therapy modalities with specialized training in trauma-informed care. My therapy practice utilizes an integration of Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Satir Experiential Therapy, and Somatic Therapy. My work is grounded in relational, Queer, Feminist Family Therapy, and Ecosystemic framework, which means that I am thoughtful and acknowledge that every single person exists in relation and connection to one another.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a queer, bisexual, white, neurodivergent, genderqueer femme person with chronic illness and invisible disabilities. I am telling you different aspects of my identity because we do not exist in a vacuum and our lived experiences influence the ways that we interact with one another and the society that we exist within. You are the expert in your life and I am here not as the expert to "fix" you because you are not broken. Humans are beautiful messes that only need organization, not cleaning. I am here to be willfully open and genuine while I listen to your stories and human experiences. I aim to assist you on your journey to living your authentic and true life through operating in the here and now while holding space for humanness.
