About My Clients
My desire is to help you live a full life, to listen openly, w/out bias, to understand you outside of your problems; to help you see that you have strengths/resources that will help you get through this difficult time. When dealing with trauma from divorce, childbirth, loss, or when trying to manage motherhood including post-partum issues, if you are feeling stuck, sad, confused, or anxious, I will aid you in identifying those obstacles & work collaboratively and holistically to work through it
My Background and Approach
Having spent more than 25 years as a life coach, Suzanne obtained her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. She worked for the County of Ventura with the incarcerated population and foster youth, aiding with reunification and assisting victims of trauma. Suzanne completed her practicum at the Family Service Agency, working with survivors of IPV, adolescents, couples, and families. She also earned hours at the San Fernando Counseling Center, where she worked with the LGBTQ community, couples, men and women experiencing anxiety, depression, loss, and infertility issues. Suzanne has always had an advocate’s heart and spent many years advocating for youth; she graduated Summa cum Laude and was trained to evaluate and treat mental and emotional disorders, behavioral health problems, relational and women's issues.
