About My Clients
I support children in coping with issues such as anxiety, self confidence, divorce, school and social issues, depression, loss, and family relationships. For parents, I have seen how important it is to receive non-judgmental listening and support as well new ways of thinking to address the concerns they have about their child or the dynamics in their family.
My Background and Approach
I listen to you, help reflect and clarify concerns and offer perspective while working with you to figure out solutions. My work utilizes an attachment-based, emotion-focused approach. I believe in the power and importance of connection and relationships. As parents, we often focus on our children’s behavior, which is only the surface of what’s going on. We need to identify and address the needs and emotions under the surface, the roots that are driving the behavior. I teach tools that you can use at home to build this connection.
