I am a therapist who takes a collaborative and integrative approach to therapy to support my clients in reaching their individual treatment goals. I specialize in working with clients impacted by trauma, the LGBTQ+ community, and those who identify as transgender and non-binary.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in treating individuals impacted by trauma and utilize a client-centered approach to facilitate healing and support the brain and body in recovering from a traumatic event. I believe that providing a safe space in therapy serves as a strong foundation to empower you to process your narrative and find meaning in your next chapter of life. I integrate techniques from mindfulness-based interventions, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic therapy to support you in building insight into your past experiences and continuing a path towards healing. I believe that everyone is unique and will collaborate with you to guide your individual goals in therapy. My goal and hope as a therapist are to support my clients in reconnecting with their values to make authentic decisions in their lives and gain increased self-confidence in their unique and individual identities.
