My Background and Approach
Are you a parent looking for a mental health provider who truly understands the challenges of raising a teen or an adult/teen with an ID/DD diagnosis? Are you a person diagnosed with an ID/DD and struggling to be heard? Do you or your teen struggle with depression, anxiety, stress, or issues of identity? Are you a caregiver in need of mental health support? Look no further, I'm here for you! I'm Tamesh (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor. My passion lies in providing support for teen issues, women’s issues, clients with an ID/DD diagnosis, and caregivers, and I am dedicated to journeying alongside those who navigate these identities and concerns. I am committed to creating a brave and welcoming space where you can learn and work towards being the best version of yourself. My approach is person-centered and relational. I draw from various modalities best suited for the client’s needs. My favorites include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused, and EMDR techniques.
