About My Clients
My ideal clients strongly desire to change their lives, explore parts of themselves, or use our time and space to build on the work they have already done. The most courageous people I know are those who ask for help when they need it in spite of feeling vulnerable. I work with adult individuals and couples, and have a particular specialty in the intersection of LGBTQ/HIV+/recovery communities.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed therapist/MFT in the state of CA, and also practice as a life coach for people living all over the country. I have been in practice since 2009, and opened a nonprofit clinic, Community Mental Health Group, in 2019 after working in the substance abuse treatment field for over 10 years. I am also trained in EMDR, and specialize in the treatment of trauma. I practice from the perspective that all my clients have the capacity for change, personal development, and recovery inside them. Our time together is meant to provide you with space, support, and the skills to access your personal healing and greatness.
