About My Clients

My practice is trauma informed, kink and gender affirming, and sex positive. I center safety in my practice and am focused on creating healing space for all folks. I specialize in working with folks navigating perinatal mood disorders, womens issues, chronic illness, expansive relationships, trauma, and the LGBTQIA+ community.

My Background and Approach

I am collaborative in my approach to therapy. I want to know what your goals are, and how I can provide a safe and supportive space to get you there. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a specialization in Sexuality. I graduated from Widener University in 2014 with my Master of Social Work and Master of Education in Human Sexuality. I have been practicing in the field since graduation, first working with young adults navigating HIV and expansive sexuality. In 2021, I graduated with my Doctorate in Human Sexuality Studies. I have undergone trainings in perinatal and postpartum mood disorders (PMADs) and am currently working toward EMDR certification. In my practice, I use an interdisciplinary approach that draws from EMDR, polyvagal, cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, feminist, humanist, systems, and mindfulness -based interventions.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

First and foremost, I believe that everyone is deserving of quality therapy and safe therapeutic relationships. I believe that we all have the power within ourselves to grow, face our fears, and ultimately meet our needs. I firmly believe that we all need support. As someone who has navigated anxiety from a young age and has dealt with postpartum anxiety, I was able to work through some of my own fears and concerns with the support of a therapist. I believe that nature is healing, and find myself yearning for hikes and the outdoors during these cold winter Colorado months (I have yet to learn how to ski-no judgement!). My beliefs and values align heavily with the BLM, anti-racist learning and growing, rights for LGBTQIA+ folks, sex-positivity and inclusivity. I center boundaries, safety, inclusiveness, and humor personally AND professionally. If you have any questions on whether or not we could be a good fit, please reach out via email/phone for a chat or free consultation.
