About My Clients
Through my education, associate, and clinical experience I have served a variety of populations including cancer patients and survivors, survivors of abuse and trauma, mild to severe mental health conditions, older adults, young adults, and adolescents.
My Background and Approach
I received my Bachelors in Social Work from Franciscan University in Ohio in 2014, and shortly after completed my Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Integrated Health from Cal State Long Beach in 2016. With my social work background, my clinical lens comes through a systems and person in environment perspective. I take a trauma informed approach and I am passionate about seeing my clients move from a place of isolation and fear to a place of healing, growth, and self compassion. In my practice with clients I most commonly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) , and Motivational Interviewing.
